Next Steps After Your Consultation

If orthodontic treatment is recommended, the next step is to gather diagnostic records to develop your personalized treatment plan. If time permits, we can often take these records during your first visit.

  • Digital scans of your teeth using an advanced intraoral scanner.
  • Panoramic and cephalometric X-rays for a complete view of your dental and jaw structure.
  • A detailed case study conducted by Dr. Prestwich to determine the best course of treatment.

Understanding the Cost of Treatment

The cost of your orthodontic treatment varies depending on the complexity of your case. During your initial visit, our treatment coordinator will review your payment options and discuss flexible plans that fit your budget.

We work with most insurance providers to help maximize your benefits and make treatment more affordable.

What’s Included in Your Treatment Investment?

Your orthodontic investment covers:

  • Comprehensive orthodontic records, including X-rays, 3D scans, and growth analysis.
  • Active treatment with braces or Invisalign, including all necessary appliances, adjustments, and office visits.
  • One set of final retainers upon completion of treatment to maintain your beautiful new smile.

Note: If appliances are lost, damaged, or misused, a replacement fee may apply.

What’s Not Included?

  • Dental work outside our practice, such as fillings, extractions, or general dentistry.
  • Additional treatment due to injury or TMJ complications that arise during orthodontic care.
  • Replacement retainers beyond the initial set provided at the end of treatment.

Insurance & Payment Options

We accept most insurance plans to help reduce your out-of-pocket costs. If there are any changes to your insurance policy during treatment, please notify our office so we can adjust your plan accordingly.
